IVF Fertility Centers in Los Angeles - Redondo Beach
The Redondo Beach location serves as the main IVF laboratory facility for the Los Angeles and Orange County offices. All offices of Reproductive Partners provide general infertility care and conventional fertility treatments as well as preparation for assisted reproductive technology (ART) such as IVF with ICSI and PGD. Couples in Los Angeles and Orange Counties requiring ART will have their initial workup, screening tests, ovarian stimulation and follow up completed at their local Reproductive Partners office. On the days the actual IVF procedure is performed, couples will be cared for at the highly specialized Redondo Beach laboratory.
Doctors Meldrum, Yee and Wisot follow most of the patients at the Redondo Beach office. Other Reproductive Partners physicians may travel to the laboratory to perform ART procedures.
Our History
While in Medical School, Dr. Meldrum developed an interest in infertility resulting from his wife Claudia's own difficulty conceiving. This led him in the direction of treating patients with infertility, as well as resulting in the birth of the Meldrum quadruplets. A sabbatical from UCLA in Australia in 1982 resulted in his learning the techniques of IVF.
In 1986 he moved his program to Redondo Beach where it evolved into the Center For Advanced Reproductive Care (CARC), now Reproductive Partners. Dr. Meldrum was joined by Dr. Wisot that same year.
